It was recorded in 1976, and was produced by George Clinton. “Hardcore Jollies” was the last band’s album to include three original members of The Parliaments: Fuzzy Haskins, Calvin Simon and Grady Thomas.

On December 15, 1975, “Casablanca” released “Mothership Connection”, the fourth Parliament album. It was recorded March – October 1975, at “United Sound” in Detroit and in “Hollywood Sound” in Hollywood, and was produced by George Clinton. In 2011, the “Library of Congress” added “Mothership Connection” to the “National Recording Registry”, declaring that “the album had an enormous influence on jazz, rock and dance music”.

One nation under a groove

On September 11, 1978, “Warner Bros” label released “One Nation Under a Groove”, the tenth Funkadelic studio album .  It was recorded at “United Sound Studio” in Detroit, Michigan, and at the “Monroe Civic Center” in Monroe, Louisiana, and was produced by George Clinton. “One Nation Under a Groove” was band’s most commercially successful album, and is regarded as one of the greatest funk album of all time. In 2003, the album was ranked at number 177 on “Rolling Stone” magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
