On September 9, 2016, “Nonesuch” label released “Nearness”, an album Joshua Redman and Brad Mehldau. It was recorded in 2011, at “Teatro Fernán Gómez” in Madrid, Spain, “Kultur Casino” in Bern, Switzerland, “De Oosterpoort” in Groningen, Netherlands, “Alte Oper” in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, “Tonhalle Düsseldorf” in Düsseldorf, Germany, “Kongsberg Church” in Kongsberg, Norway, and was produced by Joshua Redman and Brad Mehldau.

In June 1976, “Nova” label released the self–titled, debut La Düsseldorf album. It was recorded September – December 1975, at “La Düsseldorf Studio” in Düsseldorf, “Conny Plank’s Studio” in Wolperath, Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, and was produced by Conny Plank, Klaus Dinger, Thomas Dinger, Harald Konietzko, Hans Lampe and Nikolaus VanRhein.

In October 1975, “Kling Klang” label released “Radio-Activity” (Radio-Aktivität in German), the fifth Kraftwerk studio album. It was recorded in 1975, at “Kling Klang Studio” in Düsseldorf, Germany, and was produced by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider.

In March 1977, “Kling Klang Records” label released “Trans-Europe Express” the sixth Kraftwerk studio album. It was recorded in 1976, at “Kling Klang Studios” in Düsseldorf, Germany, and was produced by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider.In 2001, TV network “VH1” placed “Trans-Europe Express” at number 56 on their list of “100 Greatest Albums of All Time”; in 2002, “Slant Magazine” placed the album at number one on its list of the “Greatest Electronic Albums of the 20th Century”; in 2003, “Rolling Stone” ranked  the album at number 253 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”; in 2014, the “LA Times” called it “The Most Important Pop Album of the Last 40 Years”.

Electric Cafe

On December 16, 1986, “Kling Klang” label released “Electric Café”, the ninth Kraftwerk studio album.  It was recorded 1982 – 1986, at the “Kling Klang Studios” in Dusseldorf, and was produced by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. This was the first Kraftwerk album to be created using predominantly digital musical instruments, although the final product was recorded on analog master tapes.
