J. J. Johnson Quartet: A Touch of Satin

In February 1962, “Columbia” label released “A Touch of Satin”, album by J.J. Johnson Quartet (the 21st J.J. Johnson album overall). It was recorded in December 1960 and January 1961, at “Columbia 30th Street Studios” in New York City, and was produced by Teo Macero.

On July 10, 1972, “Columbia” label released “Chicago V”, the fourth Chicago studio album. It was recorded in September 1971, at “Columbia 30th Street Studios” in New York, and was produced by James William Guercio. In 1986,  “Chicago V” was certified 2 x Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.

On January 11, 1970., “Columbia” label released “Chicago III”, the third Chicago studio album. It was recorded June to December 1970, at the “Columbia 30th Street Studios” in New York, and was produced by James William Guercio.
