T. Rex: The Slider

The_Slider

On July 21, 1972, “EMI” label released “The Slider”, the seventh T. Rex studio album. It was recorded March–April 1972, at “Rosenberg Studios” in Copenhagen; “Château d’Hérouville” in Paris, and “Elektra Sound Recorders Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Tony Visconti. The album cover photographs were by Ringo Starr.

On February 16, 1975, “EMI” label released “Bolan’s Zip Gun”, the tenth T. Rex studio album. It was recorded in 1974, at “MRI Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Marc Bolan.

On January 28, 1973, “EMI” label released “Тanx”, the eighth T.Rex studio album.  It was recorded February – December 1972, at the “Abbey Road Studios” and “Air Studios” in London, “Strawberry Studios” in Paris, “EMI Toshiba Studios” in Tokyo, and was produced by Tony Visconti.

T. Rex: Electric Warrior

Electric warrior

On September 24, 1971, “Fly” label released “Electric Warrior”, the sixth T. Rex studio album. It was recorded March–June 1971 at “Trident Studios” and “Advision Studios” in  London,  “Wally Heider Studios” in Los Angeles and “Media Sound Studios” in New York, and was produced by Tony Visconti. The cover artwork was designed by art design group Hipgnosis, based on a photograph taken by Kieron “Spud” Murphy at concert at the “Albert Hall”, Nottingham on May 14, 1971.
