On August 5, 2025, Terrance James Reid died aged 75. He was musician (guitar), singer and songwriter, member of Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers, known by the nickname “Superlungs”, due to his emotive style of singing. His songs have been recorded by numerous artists including The Hollies, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jackson Browne, Arrival, Jack White with The Raconteurs, Joe Perry, Rumer Christopher, Cheap Trick, Marianne Faithfull, Charles Romero and Chris Cornell. As leader he released seven studio and four live albums.

Johann Johannsson
On February 9, 2018, Jóhann Jóhannsson died aged 48. He was composer who was composing music for theatre, dance, TV and movies. Some of his movie works include original scores for “Personal Effects” by David Hollander, “For Ellen” by So Yong Kim, “McCanick” by John C. Waller, “Prisoners” by Denis Villeneuve, Sicario by Denis Villeneuve, “Arrival” by Denis Villeneuve, “The Mercy” by James Marsh and “Mary Magdalene” by Garth Davis. For the score for James Marsh’s “The Theory of Everything”, Jóhannsson won a “Golden Globe” for “Best Original Score”. In the period 2002 – 2016, he released nine solo albums.

On October 11, 1976, “Polar Records” label released “Arrival”, the fourth ABBA studio album. It was recorded August 1975 – September 1976, and was produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. “Arrival” was the best-selling album of 1977 in the UK. The album was certified 18 x Platinum in Australia by “ARIA”; 2 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada”; Platinum in Finland by “Musiikkituottajay”; 2 x Platinum in Germany by “BVMI”, and Platinum in UK by “BPI”.
