On April 25, 2014, “Parlaphone” label released “Everyday Robots”, the debut Damon Albarn album. It was recorded 2011 – 2013, at “Studio 13” in Portobelo Road, and was produced by Damon Albarn, Richard Russell and Brian Eno.

On January 30, 1989, “Factory” label released “Technique”, the fifth New Order studio album.  It was recorded in 1988, at “Mediterranean Studios” in Ibiza and “Real World Studios”, and was produced by Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert. In 2013 “NME” ranked “Technique” at number 122 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. In 2006 “Q” magazine ranked the album at No. 21 on its list of the “40 Best Albums of the ’80s”.

Bobby Bland

On June 23, 2013, Robert Calvin “Bobby” Bland died aged 73. He was singer, created his own recognizable sound, mixture of gospel, blues and R&B. Referred to as “lion of the blues” and “among the great storytellers of blues and soul music”, he was inducted into the “Blues Hall of Fame” in 1981, the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” in 1992, and received the “Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award” in 1997.
