In July 1972, “Harvest” label released “In Side Out”, the fourth Edgar Broughton Band. It was recorded in 1972 and was produced by Edgar Broughton, Arthur Grant, Steve Broughton, and Victor Unitt.

On March 1, 1982, “Arista” label released “One Vice at a Time”, the sixth Krokus studio album. It was recorded in 1981, at “Battery Studios” in London, and was produced by Tony Platt, Marc Storace, Fernando von Arb, Mark Kohler, Chris von Rohr and Freddy Steady.

Bo Diddley

On June 2, 2008, Ellas Otha Bates aka Bo Diddley, died aged 79. He was musician (guitar), singer, songwriter and music producer, played important role in the transition from the blues to rock and roll. His original syncopated beat – three strokes /rest/ two strokes, became the core rhythm of rock ’n’ roll. His style influenced big number of music acts including The Animals, Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Parliament Funkadelic, The Velvet Underground, The Who, The Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, and The Beatles.

Six-Five Special

six Five Special

On February 16, 1957, the first episode of “The Six-Five Special” show was broadcasted on BBC. This was the first British television programme dealing with Rock ’n’ Roll music. The name “Six-Five Special” came from the time it was broadcast – it went out live at five past six on Saturday evening. The show producer was Jack Good , Josephine Douglas and disc jockey Pete Murray were its presenters and Don Lang and his Frantic Five were the resident band. The show was 55 minutes long and total  number of 96 episodes was broadcasted.
