Pete Ham: 7 Park Avenue

On March 18, 1997, “Rykodisc” label released “7 Park Avenue”, a posthumously released Pete Ham album. The album features demos recorded in the late 60’s and early 70’s, with overdubs recorded in 1994 and 1995.

John Coltrane: First Meditations

In December 1977, “Impulse!” label released “First Meditations”, posthumously released John Coltrane album. It was recorded in September 1965, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and was produced by Bob Thiele.

Pops Staples

On December 19, 2000, Roebuck “Pops” Staples died aged 85. He was musician (guitar), singer and songwriter, regarded as one of the key figures of the gospel, soul and R&B scene of the 60’ and 70’, and was best known as founder and leader of The Staple Singers. As leader he released three albums, and one posthumously released under his name.

Frank Zappa: Joe’s Damage

On October 1, 2004, “Vaulternative” label released “Joe’s Domage”, album featuring music by Frank Zappa, posthumously released.  It was recorded in 1972, and was produced by Joe Travers.
