It was recorded in 2003 at “Tiny Telephone”, “OTR”, “15th Street” in San Francisco, and was produced by Will Sheff, Jonathan Meiburg, Zachary Thomas, Seth Warren, Michi AceretGeoffrey Hershberger, Thomas Heyman – Pedal steel guitar, Alan Molina, and John Vanderslice.
On April 5, 2005, “Jagjaguwar” label released “Black Sheep Boy”, the Okkervil River’s third album. It was recorded in 2005, at “Brian Beattie’s Wonder Chamber” in Austin, and was produced by Okkervil River. The album cover features the work of Providence artist William Schaff.
