Television: Marque Moon

On February 8, 1977, “Elektra” label released “Marquee Moon”, the debut Television studio album. It was recorded in September 1976, at “A&R Recording” in New York City, and was produced by Andy Johns and Tom Verlaine. In 2003, “NME” magazine named “Marque Moon” the fourth-greatest album of all time. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it at number 128 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

In November 1974, “Mercury” label released “Fire”, the sixth Ohio Players studio album. It was recorded in 1974, at “Paragon Studios” in Chicago, Illinois, and was produced by James Williams, Clarence Satchell, Leroy Bonner, Marshall Jones, Ralph Middlebrooks, Marvin Pierce and William Beck,

On April 23, 1976, “Rolling Stones” label released “Black and Blue”, the 13th Rolling Stones album. It was recorded December 1974, January – February 1975, March – April 1975, and was produced by The Glimmer Twins. It was the band’s first studio album with Ronnie Wood as the replacement for Mick Taylor.
