Manchester Orchestra: A Black Mile to the Surface

On July 21, 2017, “Favorite Gentlemen” label released “A Black Mile to the Surface”, the fifth Manchester Orchestra studio album. It was recorded in 2017, at “Favorite Gentlemen” in Atlanta, “Echo Mountain” in Asheville,  and  “Elmwood West” in Dallas, and was produced by  Andy Hull, Robert McDowell and Catherine Marks.

On February 24, 2017, “Polyvinyl” label released “Forget”, the tenth Xiu Xiu studio album. It was recorded in 2016, and was produced by John Congleton, Greg Saunier, and Angela Seo, it features contributions from Charlemagne Palestine, Kristof Hahn, Vaginal Davis, and Enyce Smith.
