Pop Evil: Same

On February 16, 2018, “eOne Music” label released the self-titled, fifth Pop Evil album. It was recorded in 2017, at “Sound Emporium” in Nashville, and “Sphere Studios” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Kato Khandwala.

Car Seat Headrest: Twin Fantasy

On February 16, 2018, “Matador” label released “Twin Fantasy (Face to Face)”, the eleventh Car Seat Headrest album. It was recorded 2016 – 2017, and was produced by Will Toledo. It is a complete re-recording and reworking of the band’s 2011 sixth studio album, “Twin Fantasy”.

Doris Troy

On February 16, 2004, Doris Elaine Higginsen aka Doris Troy died aged 67. She was singer and songwriter, known by the nick name “Mama Soul”. She had solo career (her biggest hit was “Just One Look” in 1963), but was best known as back-up vocalist for many famous acts including Pink Floyd, Dionne Warwick, The Rolling Stones,  Humble Pie, Nick Drake, Kevin Ayers, Edgar Broughton, George Harrison, Johnny Hallyday, Carly Simon, Vivian Stanshall, Dusty Springfield and Junior Campbell.

On February 16, 2010, “Epitaph” label released “The Constant”, the fourth Story of the Year studio album. It was recorded in 2009, and was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette.
