Cal Tjader & Carmen McRae: Heat Wave

In January 1982, “Concord Jazz” label released “Heat Wave”, album by Cal Tjader and Carmen McRae album (the 68 Cal Tjader album overall, and his final recording). It was recording in 1981, at “Coast Recorders” in San Francisco, and was produced by Carl Jefferson.

Black Mountain: In the Future

On January 21, 2008, “Jagjaguwar” label released “In the Future”, the second Black Mountain studio album. It was recorded in 2007, at “The Factory Studios” and “The Hive Creative Labs” in Vancouver, “Sunset Sound” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Dave Sardy, Stephen McBean, Amber Webber, Jeremy Schmidt, Matthew Camirand and Joshua Wells.

Santana: Same

On August 30, 1969, “Columbia” label released the self-titled, debut Santana album. It was recorded in January and May 1969, at “Pacific Recording” in San Mateo, and was produced by Carlos Santana, Gregg Rolie, David Brown, Michael Shrieve, Michael Carabello, José “Chepito” Areas, Brent Dangerfield and David Rubinson. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 150 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.
