The KLF: The White Room

On March 4, 1991, “KLF Communications” label released “The White Room”, the fourth and final KLF (The) studio album. It was recorded 1989 – 1990, at “Trancentral”, “The Village” in Dagenham, “Little Yard” and “Matrix” in London, and was produced by Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond.

The Teardrop Explodes: Kilimanjaro

On October 10, 1980, “Fontana” label released “Kilimanjaro”, the debut Teardrop Explodes (The) album. It was recorded in 1980, at “Rockfield Studios” in Monmouth, and was produced by Bill Drummond, David Balfe and Alan Winstanley. In 2000  “Q” magazine placed “Kilimanjaro” at number 95 in its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums Ever”.

On July 18, 1980, “Korova” label released “Crocodiles”, the debut Echo & the Bunnymen album. It was recorded in 1980, at “Eden Studios” in London and “Rockfield Studios” in Monmouth, Wales, and was produced by Bill Drummond, David Balfe in Ian Broudie.  In 1993, “NME” ranked “Crocodiles at number 28 on its list of the “50 Greatest Albums of the 1980s”; in 2006, “Uncut” magazine ranked the album at number 69 on its list of the “100 Greatest Debut Albums”
