Cowboy Junkies: The Wilderness

On March 27, 2012, “Latent” label released “The Wilderness”, the fourth in “Nomad Series”, and 16th Cowboy Junkies album overall. It was recorded 2011 – 2012, and was produced by Michael Timmins.

It was recorded June–October 1967, January 1969, July 1970, at “Sunset Sound Recorders”, “Gold Star Studios”, and Brian Wilson’s home studio in Los Angeles, and was produced by Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston.. In 1997, “Guardian” ranked “Sunflower” at number 66 on its list of the “100 Best Albums Ever”.
