David Stoughton: Transformer

In December 1968, “Elektra” label released “Transformer”, the only David Stoughton album. It was recorded in 1968, and was produced by David Stoughton.

Lou Reed

On October 27, 2013, Lewis Allan “Lou” Reed died aged 71. He was  musician (guitar), singer, and songwriter, both as guitarist, vocalist, and principal songwriter of the Velvet Underground, and with his solo career, he is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential artists in the history of rock music. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “The Velvet Underground & Nico”, the debut Velvet Underground album at number 13 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”; and in 2013, the same magazine included “Transformer” and “Berlin”, two Reed’s albums on the same list.  In 2015, Reed was posthumously inducted in the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”.

Lou Reed Transformer

On November 8, 1972, “RCA” label released “Transformer”, the second Lou Reed studio album. It was recorded in August 1972, at the “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by Mick Ronson and David Bowie.
