On January 6, 2020, Martin Griffin died aged 69. He was musician (drums), during the seventies he ran “Roche” recording studios in Cornwall, recording many upcoming artists including ABC, Elvis Costello and Secret Affair, but was best known as drummer of Hawkwind and spin-off project Hawklords.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah: Same
On June 28, 2005, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah self released their debut, self-titled album. It was recorded in 2005, at “Recording Studio” in Brooklyn, New York and “Providence” in Rhode Island, and was produced by Adam Lasus, Sean Greenhalgh, Lee Sargent, Alec Ounsworth, Tyler Sargent and Robbie Guertin.

Phil Ramone
On March 30, 2013, Phillip “Phil” Ramone died aged 79. He was musician (violin), recording engineer, producer, and composer, in 1958, together with Jack Arnold he founded the recording studio “A & R Recording, Inc.” later became record company. Ramone is regarded as one of the most successful music producers ever, with 14 “Grammy” awards and cooperation with names such as Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Elton John and Paul McCartney. He is also known as producer of the first major commercial release on CD, Billy Joel’s 1982 album “52nd Street”.
