Sonny Rollins: Sonny Rollins On Impulse!

In August 1965, “Impulse” label released “Sonny Rollins on Impulse!” the 24th Sonny Rollins album (his debut on Impulse! Label). It was recorded in July 1965, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and was produced by Bob Thiele.

Art Blakey: Holiday For Skins

In June 1959, “Blue Note” label released “Holiday for Skins”, the fourth Art Blakey studio album. It was recorded in November 1958, at “Manhattan Towers” in New York City, and was produced by Alfred Lion. The album was released in two volumes.
