The album was certified Platinum in US by the “RIIA”.

On June 13, 1995, “Maverick Records” label released “Jagged Little Pill”, the third Alanis Morissette studio album. It was recorded 1994 – 1995, at “Westlake Recording Studios” and “Signet Sound” in Hollywood, and was produced by Alanis Morissette and Glen Ballard. “Jagged Little Pill” won five “Grammy Awards” including “Album of the Year”, making Morissette the youngest artists ever to receive this award. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 327 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. At the 1997 “Juno Awards”, the album song “Ironic” won “Single of the Year” award, and Morissette won “Songwriter of the Year” and the “International Achievement” award. “Jagged Little Pig” was huge commercial success selling more than thirty million copies worldwide.
