James “Baby Huey” Ramey: The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend James

In February 1971, “Curtom” label released “The Baby Huey Story: The Living Legend”, the only James “Baby Huey” Ramey album. It was recorded in 1970, and was produced by Curtis Mayfield.

The Mama’s and the Papa’s: If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears

In March 1966, “Dunhill” label released “If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears”, the debut Mamas & the Papas album. It was recorded 1965 – 1966, and was produce by Lou Adler. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked it at number 127 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.

José Feliciano: Feliciano!

In June 1968, “RCA” label released “Feliciano!”, the fourth José Feliciano album. It was recorded in 1968, at “RCA Victor’s Music Center of the World” in Hollywood, and was produced by Rick Jarrard.  Jose Feliciano won the “Best New Artist” award, and “Best Pop Male Song of the Year” award for the song “Light My Fire”.
