Johnny Cash: Bitter Tears: Ballad Of The American Indian

On October 26, 1964, “Columbia” label released “Bitter Tears: Ballads of the American Indian”, the 13th Johnny Cash album. It was recorded March – June 1964, and was produced by Frank Jones and Dom Law. In 2010, the “Western Writers of America” chose “The Ballad of Ira Hayes” as one of the “Top 100 Western songs of all time”.

On July 9, 1996, “Slash” label released “Irresistible Bliss”, the second Soul Coughing studio album. It was recorded in 1995, and was produced by David Kahne, Steve Fisk, M. Doughty, Sebastian Steinberg, Mark de Gli Antoni and Yuval Gabay.

X: Wild Gift

In May 1981, “Slash” label released “Wild Gift”, the second X album. It was recorded in March 1981, at “Clover Recorders” in Los Angeles, “Golden Sound Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Ray Manzarek. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Wild Gift” at number 333 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
