On January 17, 2020, “Matador” label released “There Is No Year”, the third Algiers studio album. It was recorded April – May 2019, at “Figure 8”, “Strange Weather”, “Studio E” in New York, and was produced by Randall Dunn and Ben Greenberg.

In July 1987, “Island” label released “Strange Weather”, the eleventh Marianne Faithfull album. It was recorded in 1987, at “A&R Recording Studios”, “Record Plant Studios” in New York City, “Bearsville Studios” in Bearsville, New York, and was produced by Hal Willner.

Glenn Frey

On January 18, 2016, Glenn Lewis Frey died aged 67. He was musician, (guitar, keyboards), singer, songwriter, producer and actor, best known as a founding member of The Eagles.  As a member of The Eagles, Frey won six “Grammy Awards”, and five “American Music Awards”. In 1998, as member of The Eagles, he was inducted in the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”. As leader, Frey released five studio and one live album.
