On October 11, 1957, “Sun” label released “Johnny Cash with His Hot and Blue Guitar”, the debut Johnny Cash album. It was recorded  September 1954 – August 4, 1957, and was produced by Sam Phillips.

In February 1959, “RCA Victor” label released “For LP Fans Only”, the seventh Elvis Presley album. It was recorded in August 1956 at “20th Century Fox Stage One”,  September 1956 at “Radio Recorders” in Hollywood, January 10 and 11 at the “RCA Victor Studios” in Nashville, “RCA Victor Studios” in New York, and “Sun Studio”.

In October 1965, “Elektra” label released “The Paul Butterfield Blues Band”, the debut Paul Butterfield album. It was recorded in September 1965, and was produced by Paul Rothchild and Mark Abramson. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 468 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. “Down Beat” magazine ranked it at number 11 on its list of the “Top 50 Blues Albums”.

The album was certified Platinum in UK by “BPI”; Platinum in the US by “RIIA”, and Platinum in Sweden by “IFPI”.

It was recorded March–June 1973, at “Bearsville Sound Studios” in Bearsville, New York; “Capitol Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Robbie Robertson, Richard Manuel and  Billy Mundi. The album consists entirely of cover songs.
