It was recorded in 2008, at “Queensize Twin Air” in Indianapolis, IN, “Fourth Ave. Recording” in New York, NY, “Camp Street Studios” in Cambridge, MA, “Vacation Island Recording” in Brooklyn, NY, and was produced by Gibby Haines.

In 2009,“Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Pink Flag” at number 412 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. In 2013, “NME” magazine ranked “Pink Flag” at number 378 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
