Eric_Clapton - Journey Man

On November 7, 1989, “Duck” label released “Journeyman”, the eleventh Eric Clapton studio album. It was recorded in 1989, and was produced by Russ Tielman. Clapton won “Grammy Award” for “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance” in 1990 for the song “Bad Love”. “Journeyman” became the first Clapton’s solo studio album to go double platinum.

Foxtrot

On September 15, 1972, “Charisma” label released “Foxtrot”, the fourth Genesis studio album. It was recorded August – September 1972, at the “Island Studios” in London, and was produced by Dave Hitchcock, Tony Banks,  Steve Hackett, Phil Collins, Michael Rutherford and Peter Gabriel.

Peter Banks

On March 7, 2013, Peter William Brockbanks aka Peter Banks died aged 66. He was musician (guitar) and songwriter, member and  guitarist of “Yes” and had formed the bands “Flash” and “Empire”. In his career he has worked with Blodwyn Pig”, Jan Akkerman, Roger Ruskin Spearm, John Wetton, Phil Collins, Steve Hackett and “Zox & the Radar Boys”.

John Martyn

On January 29, 2009, Iain David McGeachy aka John Martyn,  died aged 61. He was musician (guitar), singer and songwriter, regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of the modern music, with an unique voice and guitar playing style. In his 40 year career he has worked with artists such as Eric Clapton, David Gilmour and Phil Collins and he had released 21 studio albums. ”The Times” described him as “an electrifying guitarist and singer whose music blurred the boundaries between folk, jazz, rock and blues”.
