On June 11, 1979, “Capitol” label released “Get the Knack”, the debut Knack (The) album. It was recorded in April 1979, and was produced by Mike Chapman. “Get the Knack” became one of the most successful debut albums in music history, selling over one million copies in only two months.

On May 6, 1977, “EMI” label released “Holly Days”, the second Denny Laine album. It was recorded in August 1976, at “Rude Studio”, and was produced by Paul McCartney. The album is tribute to Buddy Holly.
