In February 1968, “Impulse!” label released “Light My Fire”, album Gábor Szabó and Bob Thiele (the seventh Gábor Szabó album overall). It was recorded August – September 1967, in Los Angeles, and was produced by Bob Thiele.

In May 1969, “Marmalade” label released “Streetnoise”, the fourth Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity album. It was recorded in 1969, at “Advison Studios” in London, and was produced by Giorgio Gomelsky.

José Feliciano: Feliciano!

In June 1968, “RCA” label released “Feliciano!”, the fourth José Feliciano album. It was recorded in 1968, at “RCA Victor’s Music Center of the World” in Hollywood, and was produced by Rick Jarrard.  Jose Feliciano won the “Best New Artist” award, and “Best Pop Male Song of the Year” award for the song “Light My Fire”.

The Doors - The Doors

On January 4, 1967, “Elektra” label released the self titled debut Doors (The)  album. It was recorded in August, 1966, at the “Sunset Sound  Recorders”, in Hollywood, and was produced by  Paul A. Rothchild.  Both the album and the song “Light My Fire” were inducted into the “Grammy Hall of Fame”. In 2012, magazine “Rolling Stone” ranked the album on number 42, on its list of “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. In 2015,  based on its cultural, artistic or historical significance, the “Library of Congress” selected “The Doors” for inclusion in the “National Recording Registry”.
