Andrew Hill: Pax

On June 6, 2006, “Blue Note” label released “Pax”, the seventh Andrew Hill album. It was recorded in February 1965, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and was produced by Alfred Lion.

Sam Rivers: Contours

In January 1967, “Blue Note” label released “Contours”, the second Sam Rivers album. It was recorded on May 21, 1965, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and was produced by Alfred Lion.

Daevid Allen

On March 13, 2015, Christopher David Allen aka Daevid Allen died aged 77. He was musician (guitar) and songwriter, one of the most important figures of the progressive and avant-garde rock, Born in Australia, moved in UK in 1961, he was founding member of “Soft Machine” (1966) and in 1967, in France he formed the legendary band “Gong”.
