On December 7, 2016, Gregory Stuart “Greg” Lake died aged 69. He was musician (guitar, bass, harmonica), singer, songwriter and producer, best known as member of bands Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) and King Crimson. As leader he released three albums.

On June 14, 1971, “Island” label released “Tarkus”, the second Emerson, Lake & Palmer album. It was recorded in January 1971, at “Advision Studios” in London, and was produced by Greg Lake.

Keith Emerson
On March 11, 2016, Keith Noel Emerson died aged 71. He was composer and keyboardist, member of the Keith Emerson Trio, John Brown’s Bodies, Gary Farr and the T-Bones, The V.I.P.’s, P. P. Arnold and The Nice, but he was best known as founding member and keyboardist of Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). Emerson is widely regarded as the greatest keyboardist in the history of rock music.
Emerson, Lake And Palmer: Brain Salad Surgery
On November 19, 1973, “Manticore” labele released “Brain Salad Surgery”, the fourth Emerson Lake & Palmer studio album. It was recorded June – September 1973, at the “Advison Studios” and “Olympic Studios” in London, and was produced by Greg Lake. The cover art is by H. R. Giger.
