Гражданская Оборона: Звездопад

On March 20, 2002, “GrOb Records” label released “Звездопад”, the 20th Гражданская Оборона album. It was recorded August – November 2001; track “Fog” was recorded on December 14, 2003, at Yegor Letov concert in Barnaul;  track “The Sun Will Rise” was recorded on April 29, 2004, at a concert in the “Palace of Culture” in Moscow, and was produced by Yegor Letov. The cover design features works by Romanian naivist painter Mihai Dascalu  and Croatian naivist painter Ivan Generalich

Idoli: Odbrana i poslednji dani

In March 1982, “Jugoton” label released “Odbrana i poslednji dani” (The Defense and the Last Days), the debut Idoli studio album. It was  recorded 1981 – 1982, at “Studios XIII and VI, Radio Belgrade” in Belgrade, Serbia, and was produced by Vlada Divljan, Nebojša Krstić, Srđan Šaper, Zdenko Kolar and Kokan Popović. In 1998, it was voted “Yugoslav Greatest Popular Music Album” in the book “YU 100: The Best Albums of Yugoslav Pop and Rock Music”. In 2015, in the special issue of the Croatian edition of “Rolling Stone” magazine, “Odbrana i poslednji dani” was voted the “Greatest Yugoslav Rock Album of all Time.

Bijelo Dugme - Bitanga i princeza

On March 16, 1979, “Jugoton” label released “Bitanga i Princeza”, the fourth Bijelo Dugme studio album. It was recorded in January 1979, at “Studio PGP RTB” in Belgrade, and was produced by Neil Harrison. In 1998, the album was ranked at number 10, in the list of “100 greatest Yugoslav rock and pop albums” in the book “YU 100: The Best Albums of Yugoslav Pop and Rock Music” and in 2015, Croatian edition of magazine “Rolling Stone”, ranked the album at number 15 on the list of “100 greatest Yugoslav albums”.
