It was recorded in 2005, at “Allaire Studios” in Shokan, New York, and was produced by John Leckie and  Jim James. In 2012, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 457 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”; and on number 31st on its list of the “100 Best Albums of the 2000s”, and 23rd of the “40 Greatest Stoner Albums Ever”.
