Dead Can Dance: Aion

On June 11, 1990, “4AD” label released “Aion”, the fifth Dead Can Dance studio album. It was recorded 1989 – 1990, at Brendan Perry’s estate in “Quivvy Church” in Ireland “Woodbine Street Recording Studios” in Leamington Spa, England, and was produced by Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry. The album cover shows a detail from the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch’s triptych “The Garden of Earthly Delights”.

On May 27, 1991, “Factory“ label released the self-titled, debut Electronic album. It was recorded 1989 – 1991, at “Clear Studios” in Manchester, and was produced by Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr.

On August 27, 2001, “London” label released “Get Ready”, the seventh New Order studio album. It was recorded 2000 – 2001, and was produced by Steve Osborne, Bernard Sumner,  Peter Hook, Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris, Flood and David Kahne. “Get Ready” was dedicated to Rob Gretton, the manager of Joy Division and New Order, who died in 1999.
