The WailersBurnin'

On October 19, 1973, “Island” label released “Burnin’”, the sixth Wailers album. It was recorded in April 1973, at the “Harry J. Studios”, in Kingston, Jamaica, and was produced by Chris Blackwell and the Wailers. “Burnin'” was the last album by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer together, before Tosh and Bunny left for their solo careers and the band became known as Bob Marley and the Wailers. The album features “Get Up, Stand Up”, song that became one of the reggae music trademarks.  In 2003, the album was ranked at number 319 on “Rolling Stone” magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
