Johnny Hodges: The Blues

In October 1956, “Norgran” label released “The Blues”, the fifth Johnny Hodges album. It was recorded July 1952 – September 1953 – July 1954, at “Radio Recorders” in Los Angeles, in San Francisco and New York City, and was produced by Norman Granz.

Trouble in Paradise

On January 17, 1983, “Warner Bros.”, released “Trouble in Paradise”, the seventh Randy Newman studio album. It was recorded in 1982, at the “Warner Brothers Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Russ Titelman and Lenny Waronker. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked “Trouble in Paradise” at number 67 on its list of “100 Greatest Albums of the 80”.
