On August 15, 1995, “Almo Sounds” label released the self-titled, debut Garbage studio album. It was recorded April 1994 – May 1995, at “Smart” in Madison, Wisconsin, and was produced by Shirley Manson, Steve Marker, Duke Erikson and Butch Vig.

On June 13, 1995, “One Little Indian” label released “Post”, the second Björk solo studio album. It was recorded 1994 – 1995, at “Compass Point Studios” in the Bahamas, and was produced by Björk, Tricky and Nellee Hooper. “Post” was certified Platinum in Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 376 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
