The Beach Boys: Surfin’ USA

On March 25, 1963, “Capitol” label released “Surfin’ U.S.A.”, the second Beach Boys (The) studio album. It was recorded June 1962 – February 1962, at “Capitol Studios” and “Western” in Hollywood, and was produced by Nick Venet.

Joe Newman Octet: I’m Still Swinging

In January 1956, “RCA Victor” label released “I’m Still Swinging”, album by Joe Newman’s Octet (the fifth Joe Newman album overall). It was recorded in October 1955, at “Webster Hall” in New York City, and was produced by Jack Lewis.
