In May 1986, “SST” label released “Evol”, the third Sonic Youth studio album. It was recorded in 1986, at “BC Studio” in Brooklyn, New York City, and was produced by Martin Bisi, Thurston Moore, Kim Gordon, Lee Ranaldo and Steve Shelley.

In May 1986, “Helidon” label released “Svi za mnom!” , the third Disciplina kičme album. It was recorded in April 1986, at “Druga Maca” in Beograd, Serbia, and was produced by Zeleni Zub (Dušan Kojić).

On June 30, 1986, “RCA” label released “Revenge”, the sixth Eurythmics album. It was recorded July 1985 – May 1986, and was produced by David A. Stewart. The album was certified 2 x Platinum in Canada by “Music Canada” and 2 x Platinum in UK by the “BPI”.
