Marvin Gaye: When I’m Alone I Cry

On April 1, 1964, “Tamla” label released “When I’m Alone I Cry”, the third Marvin Gaye studio album. It was recorded 1963 – 1964, at “Graystone Ballroom” in Detroit, Michigan, in Chicago and New York City, and was produced by Clarence Paul and William “Mickey” Stevenson.

In April 1966, “Blue Note” label released “Out of This World”, the twelve Three Sounds (The) album. It was recorded February – March 1962, at “Van Gelder Studios” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and was produced by Alfred Lion.
