On August 5, 1977, “Island” label released “Dry & Heavy”, the sixth Burning Spear album. It was recorded in 1977, at “Harry J’s Studio” in Kingston, Jamaica, and was produced by Winston Rodney.

On December 12, 1975, “Island” label released “Marcus Garvey”, the third Burning Spear album.  It was recorded in 1975 and was produced by Lawrence Lindo.  It was named by the Jamaican National Hero and Rastafari movement prophet Marcus Garvey.
