Kirk Hammett: Portals

On April 23, 2022, “Blackened” label released “Portals”, the debut Kirk Hammett EP. It was recorded in July 2017, June 2019, August 2020, at “Cow in the Wall Studio” and “Henson Studios” in Hollywood, Makalei Studios” in Oahu, Hawaii, “Ex Machina” in Paris, and was produced by Kirk Hammett.

It was recorded February 2002 – February 2005, at “Cello Studios”, “Grandmaster Recorders”, “Henson Studios”, and Rick Rubin’s home studio in Los Angeles, and was produced by Rick Rubin. The album was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
