It was recorded in January and February, 1967 at “Fame Studio”, “Muscle Shoals” and “Atlantic Recording Studios”, in New York, and was produced by Jerry Wexler.  In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 83 ranking on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.
