She was musician (saxophone) and composer, founding member of United Jazz and Rock Ensemble, Barbara Thompson’s Jubiaba, and Barbara Thompson’s Paraphernalia, but was best known as member of Colosseum. She recorded with The She Trinity, Howard Riley Trio, Michael Gibbs, Keef Hartley Band, Jon Hiseman, Manfred Mann’s Eart Band, Neil Ardley, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Marti Webb, Rod Argent, Jeff Wohlgenannt, Kate Westbrook and Mike Westbrook.

Ronald Hawkins
On May 29, 2022, Ronald Hawkins died aged 87. He was singer, song-writer, talent scout and musician’s mentor, known as “Rompin’ Ronnie”, “Mr. Dynamo” or “The Hawk”. He was founding member and leader of the band The Hawks. As leader he released 21 albums.
Alan White
On May 26, 2022, Alan White died aged 72. He was musician (drums, percussion), performed and recorded with John Lennon, George Harrison, Terry Reid, Donovan, The Ventures, Joe Cocker, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Gary Wright, Jesse Davis, Paul Kossoff, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, Eddie Harris, Gary Wright, Chris Squire, Johnny Harris and Alan Price, but was best known as drummer of Yes. As leader, he released one album. In 2017, White was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”, as a member of Yes.
Andy Fletcher
On May 26, 2022, Andrew John Leonard Fletcher died aged 60. He was musician (keyboards, synthesizers, bass, samplers), DJ and manager, member of the band No Romance, but was best known as founding member of Depeche Mode. In 2020, Fletcher was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” as a member of Depeche Mode.
Taylor Hawkins
On March 25, 2022, Oliver Taylor Hawkins died aged 50. He was musician (drums, percussion, guitar, piano), singer and songwriter, worked with Sass Jordan, Alanis Morissette and band Sylvia. In 2004, Hawkins formed his project Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, but was best known as drummer of Foo Fighters. In 2005, magazine ”Rhythm” voted him “Best Rock Drummer”.
Mark Lanegan
On February 22, 2022, Mark William Lanegan died aged 57. He was musician (guitar, keyboards), singer and songwriter, member of the bands Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins, but was best known as member and lead singer of Screaming Trees. As leader he released eleven albums, and three collaboration albums with Isobel Campbell, and two with Duke Garwood.
Betty Davis
On February 9, 2022, Betty Mabry aka Betty Davis died aged 77. She was singer and songwriter, recorded with Hugh Masekela and Miles Davis (she was his second wife), and had a solo career, performing in soul and funk genre. As leader she released four albums.
Marko Brecelj
On February 4, 2022, Marko Brecelj died aged 70. He was musician (guitar), singer and song writer, member of Trije črnci, Duo Zlatni zubi, Marjanov čudni zajec, Javna Dvaja, worked with SRP, Strelnikoff, but was best known as founding member, singer and main lyricist of the band Buldožer. As leader Brecelj released four albums.

On January 22, 2022, Aki Rahimovski died aged 66. He was singer, member of the bands Vakuum, Krvni Brakja and Tor, but was best known as the lead singer of Parni Valjak.
