On November 15, 1978, “Arista” label released “Shakedown Street”, the tenth Grateful Dead studio album. It was recorded July 31 -August 18, 1978, at “Club Le Front”, and “Meta Tantay” in Carlin, Nevada, and was produced by Lowell George. The album cover art was by underground comics artist Gilbert Shelton.
