On May 18, 1999, “Elektra Nonesuch” label released “Good Dog, Happy Man”. the 11th Bill Frisell album. It was recorded in 1998, at “O’Henry Sound” in Burbank, California, and was produced by Lee Townsend.

On July 25, 2006, “Bella Union” label released “The Trials of Van Occupanther”, the second Midlake studio album. It was recorded 2005 – 2006, in Denton, TX, and was produced by Tim Smith, Eric Pulido, Eric Nichelson, Paul Alexander and McKenzie Smith.
