It’s a Beautiful Day: Marrying Maiden

In June 1970, “Columbia” label released “Marrying Maiden”, the second It’s a Beautiful Day studio album. It was recorded in 1970, at “Pacific High Recording Studios” and “Wally Heider Recording” in San Francisco, and was produced by Brent Dangerfield, David LaFlamme, Hal Wagenet, Fred Webb, Mitchell Holman, Val Fuentes and Pattie Santos.

Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen: Lost in the Ozone

In November 1971, “Paramount” label released “Lost in the Ozone”, the debut  Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen album. The studio selections were recorded April – July 1971 at “Pacific High Recording Studios” in Ann Arbor, Michigan , “Long Branch Saloon” and “New Monk” in Berkeley, California, and the live selections were recorded in July 1971, at the “Long Branch Saloon” and “New Monk” in Berkeley. The album was produced by Bob Cohen and George Frayne.

Sly and the Family Stone: Stand!

Stand

On May 3, 1969, “Epic” label released “Stand!”,the fourth Sly and the Family Stone studio album. It was recorded 1968 – 1969, at “Pacific High Recording Studios” in San Francisco, and was produced by Sly Stone. In 1986, “Stand!” was certified Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”. In 2003, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked the album at number 118 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of all Time”.
