It was recorded 2008 – 2011, at “Stanley” in Los Feliz, California, “NBB” in New York City, and was produced by Charley Drayton and Fiona Apple. in 2020, “Rolling Stone” magazine placed the album at number 213 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
