On January 16, 1999, “Warner Bros” label released “Viva! La Woman”, the debut Cibo Matto studio album. It was recorded in 1998, at “Electric Lady” in New York City, “Sunset Sound Factory” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Mitchell Froom, Tchad Blake, Miho Hatori and Yuka Honda.

On August 19, 2008, “Metastation” label released “No Matter”, album by Kudsi Erguner, Bill Laswell, Mark Nauseef and Markus Stockhausen. It was recorded in 2008, at “Ztudio Zerkall” in Germany, “Orange Music” in West Orange, NJ, and was produced by Walter Quintus and Kurt Renker.

Passion

On June 5, 1989, “Geffen” label released “Passion”, the eight Peter Gabriel album. It was recorded 1988 – 1989, and was produced by Peter Gabriel. “Passion” was originally composed as the soundtrack for the movie “The Last Temptation of Christ”, but after the movie’s release Gabriel worked additionally on the music and released it as full-fledged album instead of a movie soundtrack.  In 1990, the album won “Grammy Award” for “Best New Age Album”.
