James Blood Ulmer: Memphis Blood: The Sun Sessions

On September 4, 2001, “Hyena” label released “Memphis Blood: The Sun Sessions”, the 19th James Blood Ulmer album. It was recorded in April 2001, at “Sun Studios” in Memphis, Tennessee, and was produced by Vernon Reid.

The White Stripes: De Stijl

On June 20, 2000, “Sympathy for the Record Industry” label released “De Stijl”, the second White Stripes (The) studio album. It was recorded 1999–2000, at “Third Man Studio” in Detroit, Michigan, and was produced by Jack White. The album name comes from De Stijl (“the style” in English), a Dutch art movement.
