Lemonheads: Varshons

On June 23, 2009, “The End Records” label released “Varshons”, the ninth Lemonheads studio album. It was recorded in 2008, at “Queensize Twin Air” in Indianapolis, IN, “Fourth Ave. Recording” in New York, NY, “Camp Street Studios” in Cambridge, MA, “Vacation Island Recording” in Brooklyn, NY, and was produced by Gibby Haines.

On September 15, 1987, “Sire” label released “Halfway to Sanity”, the tenth Ramones studio album. It was recorded in April 1987, and was produced by Daniel Rey, Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee ramonea and Richie Ramone. ”Halfway to Sanity” is band’s last album to feature Richie Ramone.

It was recorded November – December 1966, at the “Columbia Studios” in Hollywood, and was produced by Gary Usher. In 2012, the album was ranked at number 127 on “Rolling Stone’s” magazine list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
