On January 30, 1976, “Warner Bros” label released “Stretchin’ Out in Bootsy’s Rubber Band”, the debut Bootsy’s Rubber Band album. It was recorded 1975 – 197, at “United Sound Systems” in Detroit, Michigan, and was produced by George Clinton and William “Bootsy” Colins.

On June 1, 1979, “Warner Bros” label released “This Boot Is Made for  Fonk-N”, the fourth Bootsy’s Rubber Band album. It was recorded in 1979, and was produced by Bootsy Collins and George Clinton. The album’s cover and the 8-page comic book entitled “The Almost Finished Comic” was by Overton Loyd.

On November 28, 1977, “Casablanca” label released “Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome”, the sixth Parliament studio album. It was recorded 1976 -1977, at the “United Sound” in Detroit,  “Hollywood Sound” in Hollywood, and was produced by George Clinton. The vinyl release contained an 8-page comic book that explains the album concept and 22″ by 33″ inch poster of the character “Sir Nose D’Voidoffunk”.
